Another successful weekend of serving our community!

The Life DTS group played a huge role in the 2019 Gun Show

Edmonton's Life DTS group was in High Prairie from Friday to Monday to serve in the community. A few church members participated with the group setting up for the Gun show again this year. They volunteered on Saturday as well participating in ticket sales, door security and anywhere they could help.

Sunday the group participated with the Sunday morning service by joining in worship, sharing a powerful skit followed by an impactful message from Pastor Paul Militsala. One of the boys who 'died' on stage remained lying there for almost an hour as Pastor Paul shared his message. "He didn't want to get up and be a distraction," he said.

The group spent more time at the gun show to help with take down and clean up Sunday afternoon. Their help was extremely appreciated by event organizers.

The attitude to serve was welcome reminder of how simple things can be a testimony of God's love and several people were honoured by their servant hearts. We look forward to hosting them again next year!
